"...I'll be out in the sandbox..." My favorite childhood spot. I would spend hours there, thinking, creating, building elaborate cities and sculptures from my daydreams with nothing more than miniscule grains of sand. It's amazing how profound in it's simplicity that was. A simple wooden box built by my dad, with little triangle benches built into the corners. A gathering place for friends, real and imaginary. This space, like my sandbox, will be my sanctuary.
