Decorating Tips
Q: How do you know that your paint colour is a good choice?
A: When it makes your mother cringe. When she phones you just to ask what that colour was called again? When she calls to tell you that "her friend" thought it might be too overbearing and "wondered if we'd still like it in 5 years".
Q: How do you know your paint colour might not be the best choice?
A: When it takes 4 (count'em- 4) coats to get even colour without streaks, and that's overtop of 2 coats of primer! Shades of "dragon's blood" from the last decorating escapade. Here we go again....apparently "chile" is just as much work!
Q: How do you know your paint choice is non-toxic?
A: When you spend half the night cutting it out of your cat's fur, but she's none the worse for wear......well, besides being funny looking with red streaks.
Just wait until I get the rest of the walls painted.....
